BEBO FERRA

For a long time now Bebo has been considered one of the most representative Italian guitarists, as shown by his most recent collaborations with Paolo Fresu, Enrico Pieranunzi, Giovanni Tommaso, Fabrizio Bosso, Rita Marcotulli and others.
Bebo Ferra Quartetto Luar
"Moon Light": this is the meaning of the brazilian term Luar which shows how the guitarist Bebo Ferra is inspired in all this project by South America music, from the persuasive and nostalgic melodies of the well known most popular music in the world. This new project was born as a trip in which everyone can reach imaginary places and arbours from the North Africa to Brazilian coasts throught Argentina , trying to carry on the research of the interplay and the creation of an original sound. Bebo Ferra is joined by Rita Marcotulli (piano), Raffaello Pareti (double bass) end Marco Decimo (cello).
The combination “Bebo Ferra - Rita Marcotulli Duo” is also possible.
Bebo Ferra Circle Trio
In this new project Bebo turns to the ‘electric' guitar, after a lot of other ones where he played the acoustic instrument. This line-up is very different from the previous ones, which were more congruent with the traditional jazz; guitar/hammond/drums have famous backgrounds in history, but in this case the result is more psychedelic and visionary. The original compositions are always very melodic and a little bit more ‘groove'; inside you can find the attempt to mix the last years experiences with the Devil quartet of Paolo Fresu and the Apogeo of Giovanni Tommaso, groups in which Bebo could experience also a new audio investigation. Near him the new rising star Gianluca Di Ienno at the organ and Maxx Furian at the drums.
Bebo Ferra + Javier Girotto
After the lucky collaboration in the quartet “Mari Pintau” of Bebo Ferra, the guitarist from Cagliari and the argentinian multi-instrumentalist Javier Girotto meet again for a new project. This time they choosed the duo formula in an almost totally new repertory, where they can express the full maturity of their artistic association.
Bebo + Massimo Ferra: Ferra vs Ferra
Two extraordinary guitarists, brothers, between the most active on the international scene and reference points for jazz guitar, after twenty years of artistic and geographical distance (Massimo in Sardinia, Bebo in Milan) they reunite to realize together a discographic project in which is predominant the acoustic dimension of their classic and folk or twelve strings guitars. Two guitars for two very different styles.
